an ongoing problem

Hi All,
I have tried repeatedly to download a security fix for Firefox - I've used every repository
in the world - I'm based in the Philippines at this time and usually use a UK mirror.
The download says - shecksum error - the file could be 41.2Mb to 44.2Mb depending on what
and where in the world you download the file from - all though state a checksum error.
Why is this? I can download 65Mb Debian docs but fail to download Firefox.
