Hi again,

I made a fresh install into an old IBM Thinkcentre 8187-73G with Intel
82865G Integrated Graphics Controller.

I installed Lubuntu 14.04.1 from the desktop iso file and
updated/dist-upgraded it. The only tweak I tested was UXA acceleration.

Section "Device"
 Identifier "Intel Graphics"
 Driver "intel"
 Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"
EndSection

The computer works and seems not affected by this bug (with a clean up
to date Lubuntu 14.04).
