Evince image viewer cannot view PNG

Right. It should be all one way or another. The mpaint part, for
example, is not needed. If it is to be by what the application does,
then there is still some tidying to do. There are some applications
that are refered to only by name. Audacious, GNOME Mplayer, Xfburn,
PCManFM, AbiWord, Gnumeric, LXTerminal and a few others are refered to
by name.
