Removing Zeitgeist

Hi,
 I am using Lubuntu 13.10 and want to remove Zeitgeist. I have successfully
disabled Zeitgeist on my Ubuntu 12.04 machine w/o breaking the Unity DE
functionality. Does anyone have any knowledge concerning Zeitgeist removal
on Lubuntu and any loss of functionality?
