Chromium browser vs Google Chrome: security on Lubuntu

Yes, that's a bit puzzling. Chromium stable has been on v25 for quite a
while as far as I can see. I asked about this during the "chromium as
default" hangout (http://youtu.be/XeM75ukJwYg?t=16m40s) but they claimed
that Chromium's been up to date since December. Maybe there's something I
didn't quite understand :(
