Window Manager behavior

By default Lubuntu has two virtual desktops.  How can I set the Window
Manager (or whatever is responsible) to allow me to move a window from
one virtual desktop to another by dragging?

For those that have used FVWM, that is what I am after.  Take a window
and drag it to the edge of the viewport (or whatever it is called) and
it will be moved to the new desktop.  With FVWM it is even possible to
have a window straddle the edge of two.
