But only if the tool for building the live USB stick works dependably...

I thought the Live USB creator was a problem only when running on 
Lubuntu, so I ran it on an Ubuntu Unity partition (13.04).  Even there 
It could not successfully create the USB live installer.

I tried it on a Kubuntu 13.04 partition, and it created it (an Xubuntu 
Live USB) with no problem.
