As I recall, the Open Java package "default-jre" gave you Java level 1.6 
an Lubuntu 12.04.

On Lubuntu 13.04, it gives you Java level 1.7.

I think the default-jre is Java level 1.7 on Lubuntu 12.10 as well, but 
I am not certain of that.  It seems my Lubuntu 12.10 systems (upgraded 
from 12.04) had both levels of Java - 1.6 and 1.7 in the system.
