Is there a way to get scrot to capture the mouse cursor?

I like that. It's easy, and it doesn't depend on me remembering any
obscure commands months later when the need to identify a package
happens again.

I tried it in the case of the menu entry "Screenshot", and it yielded a
lot of packages, almost all of which are not installed. The installed
packages found by that search were:

gnome-mplayer
gnome-screenshot
x11-apps

Among this short list, it was easy to find the one I was looking for
(gnome-screenshot).

Thanks! That is the method I will use in the future, along with
displaying the properties of the menu entry.

Regardless what method I choose to use, I am amazed at the variety of
solutions to this problem offered by so many people on this e-mail list,
and the clever ways people have used to solve this problem.

Many thanks to all of you who have offered solutions!
