Is there a way to get scrot to capture the mouse cursor?

It appears that "scrot" is a command-line-interface screenshot tool, and
its man-page has some of the parameters of the GUI screenshot tool I
use. I don't know if "scrot" can do it, but a GUI screenshot tool can.
The screen-shot tool I use (accessed via
Menu...Accessories...Screenshot) has two "Effects" check-boxes. The
first one "Include Pointer" means to include the mouse pointer (if
checked).
But to get it, you also have the check either the "Grab the whole
screen" or the "Grab the current window" radio button, with a "Grab
after a delay of" value long enough for you to put the cursor where you
want it - possibly hovering over something that produces a tool-tip
display.
After selecting the radio-button, and the check-boxes (and the delay),
click the "Take Screenshot" button, then position the mouse cursor to
where you want it. After the delay, it will take the screenshot (with
an audio and visual indication that it took it).
If you go to the Rosegarden tutorials website (at the URL below), and
scroll down to the "Setting-Up Qsynth To Run On Your System" section,
you will see a screen-shot of Qsynth (with my custom colors) that
includes both the mouse cursor, and the tool-tip that was produced by
positioning the mouse pointer there.
