Unwanted behaviors (bugs?)

There are couple things, minor things, that I still have not found a
complete solution, I guess cause they are minor, I did not spent time
searching for an solution...

But I guess it's time, specially to learn! On my notebook, I have this
issues:

1- When I turn it off, with a headphone plugged in, if I turn it on with
headphones unplugged, my audio output comes mute. What I do is to unmute it
every time this happens...

2- When I attach an equipment on VGA port, I have no shortcut to get it
copied right away, I have to open the monitor settings, activate the VGA
output, set a screen resolution for both... I know it's quite easy to set
an shortcut to open monitor settings, but is it possible to automate all
this things I usualy do to get VGA output? Maybe with a script...

3- I have a mute button on my notebook, it works like toggle, one click
mutes, another unmutes. The mute function works, but when I press it again
it does not unmute. There is an indicator light, that works as the software
should, but on software I have to unmute it by clicking on the sound
control app on lxpanel...

(I guess this is it), if I remember something else I post it right away...
