Missing library on Lubuntu

It shows up in my tab-completions in the terminal.
You may have to enable some of the other repositories (i.e.
multiverse/universe)
You can do this from the `software-properties-gtk` program (I can't
remember off the top of my head where in Synaptic's menu it is, but it
should be labeled coherently

then you need to reload apt
(from terminal this is `sudo apt-get update` I think the repos will
reload automatically with the software properties program)

I don't use synaptic very often (only with a fresh install) I usually
use the terminal.
Let us know if you need more help (or if you get it working.
Another thing... sometimes local repo mirrors have trouble.  You can try
the main ubuntu servers, if you keep having issues.
