Desktop Session Settings - Advanced Options - Window Manager does not respect user's change - Lubuntu 13.10 (Saucy)

In previous versions of Lubuntu (e.g. 13.04) I was able to change the Window Manager from Desktop Session Settings - Advanced Options - Window Manager[1] . I was writing "kwin" (without quotes) and at next login, kwin managed the desktop instead of openbox. Now this cannot be happen.

Instead I can set the Window Manager from Default applications for LXSession → Running Applications [2]

What we can do about this ? I thought we could remove the Desktop Session Settings completely, but from there you can manage the autostart applications.
