Gparted missing in installation though present on Live CD

Hi,

I know this is not the answer to you question as to why it was removed,
but I have found this really useful since gparted was removed from
default install. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php
It has been so handy that I still have the .iso on my ext HDD and have
given it away to friends on countless occasions now (even friends who
are scared of the Linux world!)

Hope you find it as useful as I have
