Two of the three have learning difficulties and tend to learn things by 
rote. So, any thing new tends to be a problem to them as their problem 
solving skills are not very well developed. This means that apparently 
trivial problems, that most of us can easily overcome, can be major 
hurdles for them. If things can be made easy enough for them to 
understand then it becomes easier for most everybody else.  It's through 
contact with people with these type of problems that I've become more 
and more aware how non-obvious a lot of computing is and I think it 
would pay to take notice of them.
