Upgrade to Udisks 2.0 to get a working floppy drive?

I'm just experimenting with the 12.10 LiveCD, but I see that udisks 2 is
apparently the default now, which means that floppy disks will now
auto-mount when you try to open them in pcmanfm. So for that, THANKS!!

But apparently this bug reported with Nautilus also applies to Pcmanfm:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/886327

So if you explicitly unmount the floppy filesystem (and thesame thing
happen with USB flash drives) with the eject button in the pcmanfm
interface, pcmanfm closesaltogether.

This makes me wonder if the bug is properly attributed to both these
file managers. Perhaps something else is to blame. There are comments
about upstream/Gnome something, but I'm too newbie to grasp what that
means, other than this issue is related to something else being worked
on (or not) elsewhere.

In a quick read it did seem that someone was trying to mark the issue as
moot/dead/solved/someone-else's-problem, so I added my name to the
This-affects-me-too list.
