I say its time to dump lubuntu software center for deepin software center

That could well be true, but LSC is being developed as lower resource
equivalent of USC. Please allow me post an email in that you may have
missed?....

We will never make ALL of the people happy ALL of the time, but each
release is a step change from the previous one. From PCManFM to LSC via all
of LX applications there is always work to do, bugs to squish, features to
add etc. It is the fact that the devs DO make these important changes each
cycle that makes each release of Lubuntu better than the previous one and
something we all look forward to being released.
