I've been checking out deepin software center the past couple days and
I gotta tell ya. Lubuntu Software Center should be replaced by this
beauty..

Not only is this thing beautiful and feature rich but its also really
light. Much lighter than Lubuntu software center by my observation.

Both software centers appears as python in the task manager..

on my machine right now lubuntu software center takes about 75 megs to
run opposed to deepin software center which takes about 40, i've seen
it takes as low as 20 at times...

anyway its super nice and is becoming my default on all my custom
lubuntu installations.

take a look here
http://www.noobslab.com/2012/10/install-deepin-software-center-in.html

here is the repo to add if you want it

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/deepin-sc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install deepin-software-center

i have sinced removed lubuntu software center completely.
