Can one move an application across desktops in the panel desktop applet? (Like xfce etc.)

In xfce (and, I think, Gnome and KDE) one can drag windows from one
desktop to another in the panel applet that shows the desktops.

Is this not possible in Lxde/Lubuntu?

It's much clumsier having to drag a window off the edge of the 'real'
screen, especially if you want to move across to a non-adjacent desktop.
