Question about Lightdm and XScreensaver integration

One place I notice a problem with the xscreensaver is when switching
users.  If one switches to a second user and then switches back to the
first user, the first user's password must be entered twice, once at
the lightdm greeter and once by the xscreensaver.  This happens even
when the xscreensaver is not in use or enabled by the first user.
