Hello Nikola,
First thing you need to do after you download the correct Lubuntu ISO file
that will work on your hardware (32 bit or 64 bit) is checking MD5SUM for
the ISO file to make sure the downloaded file is not damaged.

Then compare it with: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuHashes
After that, it's either you create a LiveCD or LiveUSB. For LiveCD, make
sure to burn the CD at the lowest possible speed and I suggest here 8x is
reasonable. If you go for LiveUSB, I suggest UNetbootin.
After that, I suggest to run the Live Session, Run GParted, create the
needed partition for your system the start the installation.
