Lubuntu Beta 1

It is only when you are stuck between a rock and a hard place do you find
your true friends. We faced adversity in the eye and won.
Less stressful would be nice,
I'm not even going to say how I felt upon going to bed with the RC of the
beta 1 spun and available for testing, to come down and find that there had
been a 2nd re-spin of the desktop iso's!
In many ways, we (and the QA team) completely so broke the official way of
getting RC's accepted, it really was done on a wing and a prayer. Lessons
have been learned, for the beta 2 RC I am hopeful that those who said they
were n00b's to things and do not understand about how iso testing goes on
can relax, their 1st exposure to it was certainly a trial by ordeal. You
guys stuck through that, doing an RC test by the rules is a "walk in the
park".
If anyone is unsure about the 'correct' way of iso testing after reading
the testing area [1] please do let me know and I will be more than happy to
go through things with you.
Regards,
Phill.
