I do belive that the use of FB was suggested? We do have a 'general' one at
https://www.facebook.com/groups/lubuntu.official/ where all your posts will
go into the correct order?

If you wish for an lubuntu-offtopic mailing list, where you can discuss the
finer art of posting top, middle, bottom, in klingon, etc... then it takes
but a few minutes for you to get me three people together who will maintain
it (NOT GOVERN IT). and you can have one.
