Problem with upgrade of Lubuntu 11.10 to 12.04

i made the same transition-- with qjackctl installed-- with no such
problems. i do know i had a current version of qjackctl, though. maybe
that was the problem?? try updating in 11.10 before you make the
upgrade. check the version of qjackctl you have, too.
