I have this too. AJ, sometimes you have to click in the input box (that you can't see), you just have to move your cursor around until it makes a 'I' shape. Well...removing unity-greeter kills lightdm entirely. <shrugs> I'm sure julien is on it. Will a reinstall fix it?
