Clipboard manager or similar - results

The results of my tests on a 256 KiB RAM machine are:

All were run on there default settings.  + indicates minimum size as these expanded with use, even a single sentence increased their size.  Once I started cutting and pasting paragraphs of text and images they increased markedly.
I would suggest that use should be made of xclipboard as it's already installed as part of  X11-apps.  Admittidly the GUI is rather primitive as it makes use of bitmaps but starting it with out the GUI should provide the function some people require.
