behaving as it should be when connection an HDMI cable. However the
resolution isn't configurable? I'm on my mobile at the moment so I can't
check things, but I thought there was an option to change your resolution
in the System Settings if I remember correctly.

If I completely misunderstood your meaning then please try to explain
again. If I'm right about my guess that you have a foreign tongue, you
might want to add the question in your own language as well. That way we
could either translate three question ourselves (or even be lucky and be
off the same language ;-) ).
