BTW, you can find the list of packages installed by lubuntu-desktop
here :
http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/lubuntu-desktop
So, you see that there is network-manager-gnome.
There's other little things to tweak when using lubuntu-core, for
example on my system I had error messages when using gdebi, I had to
select "sudo" as the authentication method with "gksu-properties".
There's a few things like this that you'll have to tweak maybe. :P
