sound from Youtube on Lubuntu PPC (eMac)

When I tried to view Nicholas' video this afternoon I got nothing but white noise on the sound track. Was attempting to play it live from the Youtube site with the Firefox browser.

Same video played ok (sound and video) on my MacBook (OS X Lion)

Is there an extension or addon that I'm missing?

Going to try downloading another browser for the eMac just to see what happens.
