Hi,

having anything with ubuntu in it is subject to approval by canonical [1].
They will, and correctly, look after the trademark. Using go-daddy I can
not comment up on.

Do ensure that you have a good reason to not to use existing ones; if there
are dis-agreements, please try to sort them out. If you wish to make a new
area, then you can apply for getting approval for a name under the advocacy
rules [2]. If you do attain that, then I will host it for you on something
that is not a little server "owned by one person" that I had been
previously accused of. In fact, I have stepped down from trustee of SII [3]
to be a staff member so as to concentrate on that server and the F/OSS
people who also now host on it.
