IMO, only a poll can be used. I think other ways will finish in a troll
war :-(
But if a poll is used, the questions need to be carefully chosen. The
answers available need to be useful for devs if you want to improve the
quality of Lubuntu, and need to be useable with a big number of answer.
For example, having too much free form will result in a a lot of text to
analyze, and a lot of time to have a good analyze of this pool.

Some examples of questions that could be used :

You use Lubuntu because :
* You have an old computer and Lubuntu is a good option for this purpose
* You have a recent computer, but you want a fast and lightweight system
* It's just beautiful / cool / fun (whatever) :-)

You would like to see improvements in which areas (1 answer only)?
* More features
* More lightweight
* More bug fixes

This type of questions would be useful to focus on some areas instead of
others.
