There goes the entire idea of the kernel being held back due to some<br>
other package. So why not try to install the right kernel explicitly?<br>

So there was a failure, and it seemed like apt didn't pull in the headers package??? I'm just posting this before I run "intstall linux headers" and reboot . . . we'll see what happens.</div><div><br></div><div>F<br> </div></div></div>
