Thanks, I'll check it out. I did try to use FF in the not too distant past to change the User Agent, but it didn't seem to work as it did in Chrome/ium . . . up until recently. So, seems like over in OSX is going to be the "answer" . . . .

On Mon, Feb 17, 2020 at 1:59 PM Walter Lapchynski <wxl@ubuntu.com> wrote:

On 2020-02-15 23:02, Fritz Hudnut wrote:
Incidentially, this is because your Downloads folder is not your
Downloads folder. Usually it's equivalent to $HOME/Downloads but since
you're using the Snap (which is the only way it will be, it seems), all
of the working directories are sandboxed.
This is not only a [known bug][1] but it seems like one that has [little
hope of being fixed][2].
This, and lots of other things were brought up in a thread on the Ubuntu
Discourse regarding [the transition from Debian package to Snap
package][3] in Chromium. You might want to lend your comments there,
too.

Regarding your ultimate issue, you [can change your User Agent on
Firefox][4].
