Assuming that you mean after starting X, that you want to then open up a<br>
TTY to login, Ctrl-Alt-F{2-6} works fine with the current daily<br>

I know you use a Mac and something about that is a little funky and<br>
probably needs to be something like fn-Ctrl-Alt/Option-F{2-6} or<br>
