Dear Lubuntu Community,

We are pleased to announce the Lubuntu Constitution, which introduces
the Lubuntu Council and Lubuntu Member system, that can be found
here[1]. The full rationale can be found on our blog here[2].

We are encouraging people who have demonstrated significant and
sustained contributions to Lubuntu via the mailing list, forums, or any
other support venues (you know who you are) to apply to become official
project members by following the new process we have laid out[3].

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you!
