Hi Walter,

The good news is that the install completes OK and the system is usable
after it.

Some observations on installing:-
* On a small screen, dialog boxes sometimes don't display completely
on-screen and you have to maximise them to see all the options - one case
is the "Edit Existing Partition" in the installer.
* The installer seemed more interested in displaying flashy lubuntu adverts
instead of installing, The installer paused a long time at 21% "Unsquash
Filesystem" and  39% "Create Locale".

Some observations on using Lubuntu:-
* Ran LO Writer. Worked OK. Found the "File save" dialog box to be very
busy and baroque. I think novice users would struggle with it.
* Ran Muon Package Manager. Installed GNOME Games OK.
* Ran Falkon from panel. First attempt failed - it crashed with no
notifications. Second attempt worked.
