Lubuntu 18.04 comes with LXDE and a bunch of GTK apps. Lubuntu 18.10
comes with LXQt and a bunch of Qt apps. Upgrading doesn't get rid of the
LXDE/GTK options. You're likely to be loading two desktops.

Same problem as aforementioned. Two NetworkManager apps. Follow the
instructions below.

Unfortunately the transition from a pre-18.10 release to a post-18.04
one is always going to be difficult no matter what. Our best suggestions
can be found in the [manual][1], but any way we cut it, this is never
going to be a smooth thing.
