Well, compared to PPC linux the amount of bug reports in amd64 is almost
nil . . . .  So, OK, well the home partition is separate from the system
partition already . . . .

So, alrighty, perhaps on the next rainy day in SoCal I could try to mess
around with the config file and see if it is possible to see any
differences . . . .
