Hi,

I installed this:
4f79d75b5b48a382a7c9ddb759365128 cosmic-desktop-i386.iso

On this:
Samsung NC10 - hawking
Intel Atom N270, 1.66GHz, 32-bit, 2GiB RAM, 149.05 GiB hard drive, no
optical drive, Ethernet and WiFi connections, lubuntu installed via USB
flashdrive and a WiFi connection.

In order to get an install going with WiFi, there is an icon at the bottom
of the screen to choose a wireless network and enter its password. That
might be confusing to novices.

As before, some dialog boxes didn't fit on screen so I had to maximise them
in order to use them.

Lubuntu Installer. You can set a partition as "to format" but this isn't
reflected in the screen that lists the partitions. Because of this, I ended
up telling the installer to format the partition twice. I think it only
formatted once, so well done. Also, you can't set a label for the
partition.

At "Create locale - 38%, the installer seemed stuck.

At 78%, the progress bar seemed to show a developer's message, something
like "Start procedure and ".

Running the O.S.

Logging in still has an appreciable pause. Might be worthwhile displaying
"Logging in...", just to let the user know what is going on.

Installing GNOME Games installed a ton of dependencies:-
* 281.3MB to download
* 997.2 MB of disc space to be used

When using muon and it is "Rebuilding Search Index", being unaware of that
and entering search terms can be a frustrating business.

Finally: Shutdown. If you select shutdown from the GUI start/swift menu, it
does it straight away. Would be helpful to have a message box ask for
confirmation of this action.

HTH,

Ian
