Confirmed. Also checked Ubuntu Server, since they also use
debian-installer and found a similar, but different bug:

You'll notice the issue is also dependencies, but different packages.

P.S. I dropped lubuntu-qa at lists.launchpad.net from the recipients and
added lubuntu-devel at lists.ubuntu.com as the former is deprecated in lieu
