[lubuntu-devel] Needs feedback: Firefox and ALSA on Lubuntu 16.04 LTS

Hello everyone,

We had a nice conversation today on IRC, and between the conversation we had
on #ubuntu-release and on #lubuntu-devel, the following actions have been
decided on:

 1) Since ALSA support was merely disabled in the *default* build of Firefox
(a major source of confusion in all of this), it is going to be turned back
on.
 2) When future releases of Firefox ship, we should check to make sure ALSA
support is still functional.
 3) More options for web browsers will be explored, just in case ALSA support
in Firefox breaks once again. We may implement this sooner than that, but
nothing has been decided on yet, and that's a whole separate discussion.
