[lubuntu-devel] 16.04 problems getting xnview started

Hi there,
freshly installed 16.04 on  1st May, it's working fine, especially 
'cifs' works great connecting to both my NAS. Thanks for that, cause 
that was a problem with 15.10.
Actually I've problems getting XNView starting. I tried the DEB 64bit 
package from www.*xnview*.com/de as well as the integration by PPA:dhor. 
Both ways endet in an apparently correct installation. But there's no 
way to get xnview starting.
I would be glad, if someone out there has a hint for me.
