Epilogue (written by the user who had problems)

The 15.10 workaround means that I first install my minimal 15.10 (I want 
an ubuntu with ssh-server only, in a reproducible way) and next 
do-release-upgrade. And it just worked: less than 700MB for a 16.04. But 
I will not mark the problem as solved: it's a workaround, not a 
solution. I'll try again the native 16.04 mini.iso, but at this point I 
got my result
