[lubuntu-devel] Automounting optical drives

Hi,

I'm still chasing down this problem but I am having problems accessing
optical drives in both Ubuntu and Lubuntu.

My T420 ThinkPad can see anything except CD-R discs. Got some help from the
Tyneside LUG and the system can see the discs, it just can't automount
them. For instance it can write a CD-R but subsequent attempts to automount
it fails.

My Samsung NC10 NetBook with an external USB drive is failing to automount
DVD-R discs as well.

Has anyone else had that problem? I'm not sure I have enough information to
file a bug report.
