Hi Julien,

The keyboard language bug was at least partly cause by a change in grep. 
A new version is more pedantic about grepping through data that might 
look like binary, and can cause scripts that used to work to fail. See

Maybe some other bug that appeared in Xenial is caused by this change in 
grep too.
