[lubuntu-devel] 14.04 --> 16.04

Hi,

as you will be aware there is a killer bug[1] stopping this and breaking
the existing system. There seems to be several bugs all rolled into one,
but they have best release of the existing issues as possible. I below
enclose a chat I had with one of the the release team [2], but out of all
of it?....
There was the simple cry ... Do NOT assume your bug is the same as some one
others bug.
Please do try out the upgrade, on a VM - NOT a real machine at this time.

@ Simon, please report the failure to upgrqde as a new bug, so they get a
new trace. Also do raise a bug that synaptics cannot fix broken packages as
new bug, but make a comment to include the errors you saw upon 1st trying
to upgrade.

@ Everyone else, 16.04 approaches, we have bugs... We don't have "have
adopt a bug" weeks any more ... sadly missed.. but do try and follow a bug
and test.
