In france we just spent 1450€ to burn 3000cds; ubuntu-uk planned to order some with us but the deadline was really to short. One of our projects for the oncoming release is to organise a "loco cd production", so that we would produce a lot of official CDs (x86, ubuntu, if we get a lot orders maybe some kubuntu too) so that we can get them at a very good price and then distribute them among participating locos. Price would be shared and be cheaper for everybody - you could then sell the cds for 1€ or something like that to get your money back. You best bet is to find a place in Lebanon or perhaps if that is not possible try to find some factories that do CD production in Cyrus, Palestine occupied territories or Jordan; some place close by. Your alternative is to order them at very high cost from Canonical or from the USA when we have our production going; although that may not be the best way to do things as I would consider sourcing and currency to be the most expensive arrangement. let me know if you need a hand with anything. When time comes I believe we'll organise fundings from team members and go to one of those CD factories. This way we won't have to wait for a long time until the CD's come and we'll also get more than ~200. Before you may try handing out Ubuntu CD's to random people, you might organise your people to support their own local neighbours. Think of it, why don't I want to install ubuntu? because i don't know anything about it. But there's this guy from across the street who knows how to handle stuff and I can always call or mail him... So i'll give it a shot! This might get some more members to your team as well as 'spread  the word'.
