Hi folks,

I attended a workshop[1] by the National Computer Board of Mauritius
yesterday. The Minister of Technology, Communication and Innovation, Hon.
Pravind Jugnauth, opened the workshop and in his speech he mentioned the
way forward for Mauritius to embrace Open Source Software. He took as
example Ubuntu that sprouted in Africa and mentioned we should follow the
steps.

It is encouraging to see a keen interest in FOSS mentioned by a Minister :-)
