Hi, further to the stalled discussion re Discourse/Ubuntuforums and LoCo 
areas on the forum, on or shortly after the 1st October we will be 
archiving all of the following LoCo area's currently homed on the forum. 
Note that this does /not/ mean they will be deleted.

None of these areas has seen any movement since the security issues last 
year, many have not bee used for some years and in fact some have never 
been posted to.

The current prohibition on LoCo sub-forum moderators remains in place 
and will continue to do so. Currently only 3 have forum specific 
moderators - Argentina, Catalan and California.

We are happy for LoCo's who DO want to have a forum presence here to do so.

However, you need to be aware that the tool we used prior to the hack to 
set-up redirects for those needing it is no longer available to us. This 
only affects new sub-forums.
