Ubuntu Global Jam is Very Soon!

Hello Team Contacts!

The *Ubuntu Global Jam* is getting *really* close.

Ubuntu is not just software. It's time to get physical! There's still
time to organize a Jam and gather some of your favourite Ubuntu people
together for a good time.

Choose a central location that's easy to get to (a coffee shop works
well). All it takes is a phone call letting them know you plan on having
a few people over. Most owners are happy to set aside a space for you.

Preparations?
- Read some ideas for things to do at the Jam at: http://loco.ubuntu.com/
- Post an ad on a local bulletin board (or online on services such as
craigslist.org )
- Grab the latest ISO of Raring Ringtail, or the latest phone/tablet build,
- Think of some fun Ubuntu facts that you can share with people that
show up,

It's as easy as that!

No time to select a physical location? No problem! You can always do it
online using either IRC or Google Hangouts. (Plus, this is also a good
way to get familiar with Hangouts before the upcoming UDS.)

The Ubuntu Global Jam (Raring Ringtail edition) is occurring
(officially) on these dates***:

    Friday March 1, 2013 , Saturday March 2, 2013 , Sunday March 3, 2013

    *** (You can of course register a different date sometime in March
    depending on your local circumstances.
